The China Academy of Art Transportation Design Institute (CAA TDI) has developed a full-scale, drivable research and experimental platform on wheels that meets medium-to-high-speed testing requirements. The project focuses on cutting-edge exploration of carbon neutrality in electric vehicles and has filed multiple patents. The design returns to the core essence of electric sports car performance, taking aerodynamics as its point of origin and evolving into an upper streamlined cabin paired with a lower tray-type aerodynamic structure, achieving a synergy between low drag and high downforce. The project features self-developed chassis and power train systems capable of satisfying medium-to-high-speed testing needs. The body extensively employs lightweight engineering and design, while the chassis incorporates a large proportion of plant‑fiber materials, which reduce weight and energy consumption while maintaining rigidity, and are also biodegradable. By returning technology to its fundamental principles, this project breaks the established paradigm of electric super cars, and empowers a carbon‑neutral future for mobility through design innovation.
