2018 Graduation Works Exhibition Opens

On May 24, the China Academy of Art (CAA) held its opening ceremony of 2018 Graduation Works Exhibition in front of the China Design Museum at Xiangshan campus in Hangzhou.




Leaders from Zhejiang Governmental Organizations and China Academy of Art as well as friends from press, companies, and students at CAA attended the ceremony.

Yu Yongming, deputy director-general of Zhejiang Educational Department announced the opening of the exhibition.



Xu Jiang, president of CAA expressed his best wishes to the final-year students at CAA. Wish them a pleasant journey ahead.



At the opening ceremony, 30 pieces of calligraphy were done by professors, students and kids from Affiliated Primary School of CAA against 9 red-colored doors shaped letter papers symbolizing 90-year anniversary of CAA.





Meanwhile, 3D animation projected on the facade of China Design Museum and Chinese calligraphy presents a combination of Chinese tradition and modern styles.


Then, 28 students from School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy feast us with a brilliant performance of traditional Chinese dancing. Students of CAA also bring us beautiful singing of chorus and 300 letters with graduation wishes are given to students who are graduating this June.








The fashion show is definitely the highlight of the evening. Models who wear creative and clothes made by the final-year students from School of Design.







The opening ceremony is held by the vice-president of CAA, Wang Zan.

The 2018 graduation works runs from May 25 to June 11. While there is an exhibition featuring excellent works will run from June 2 to June 11.
