Since 2013, CAA has been designing their own graduation gowns, representing different things for each group of graduates. The tassels on trencher caps have been made in the shape of Chinese knots, with graduation gowns being made in different colors and with varying numbers of buttons.

The green gown with four buttons is for undergraduates, representing four years of study at CAA. The purple one with seven buttons is for graduates with master degrees, with the additional three buttons symbolizing three more years spent at CAA. Lastly the red gown with ten buttons is for those graduating with doctoral degrees.
