The 5th Design Intelligence Award Evaluation and Ceremony was held from Oct 14 to 20 at CAA Xiangshan campus in Hangzhou. This year's DIA has received 7,369 entries from around the world and has developed into one of the largest Chinese industrial design competitions. Three hundred and twenty-five works have qualified to compete in the finals. The awards ceremony was held at CAA on Oct 19 in Hangzhou. Japanese product toio made by Sony and Chinese product Data Intelligence Application Platform from Alibaba Group won the Gold Prize. Gao Xingfu, vice-governor of Zhejiang province, presented the awards at the ceremony. CAA Chairman of Committee of Academy Affairs, Jin Yibin, attended the ceremony and President of CAA, Gao Shiming delivered the speech. In total, 30 items including a heavy metal detector and an underwater UAV stood out among 7,369 products.
The Excellent Products Exhibition of 2020 China Design Intelligence Award opened at CAA China Design Museum recently. A total of 325 award-winning products are on display at the exhibition and this year’s event features two additional highlights, namely the “Design against COVID19” and “Design Concept”, along with four traditional categories: Cultural Innovation Products, Life Wisdom Products, Industrial Equipment Products and Digital Economy Products. The exhibition will run until Nov 10, with the displays being made available to view online following the event’s conclusion.
