A core module within the Game Art and Design programme that covers the entire digital game development workflow. Grounded in a global creative perspective, it employs narrative logic to drive character creation, integrates and deconstructs both Chinese and international cultures, explores diverse artistic styles, and establishes a creative platform that combines Oriental culture with an international outlook. The course is structured in two phases: the introductory phase focuses on character design methodologies and digital painting skills, enabling the creative transformation of cultural elements; the advanced phase delves deeply into world-building and narrative systems, leading to the creation of a series of characters.

·Concept Design for Scenes
A core course in the Game Art and Design program focused on scene concept creation for digital content fields including interactive media, games, film and television, and animation. Centered on spatial construction, atmosphere creation, and spatial storytelling, the course covers world-building, architectural and topographical design, color and lighting, camera composition, and digital painting techniques. Instruction combines theoretical lectures, case studies, and hands-on projects, emphasizing the research and adaptation of cultural resources and the expression of contemporary visual language. The curriculum is continuously refined and optimized through real-world user feedback in response to industry demands.

·Interactive Narrative
This course is one of the project-based modules within the Game Art and Design programme. Stemming from research into narrative in games and the rise of interactive cinema and gaming, it represents a practical exploration of narrative techniques and interactive experiences inherent to games. The course aims to establish and teach a narrative-driven, end-to-end game creation methodology, whilst fostering innovative approaches to the application and integration of interactive design within game narratives.
