·Design Thinking and Innovation
This course is guided by the educational philosophy of the “Fourfold Integration”—the synthesis of moral integrity and scholarly attainment, artistic practice and theoretical inquiry, historical heritage and contemporary vision, and Chinese roots with global perspectives—and is committed to serving both national strategy and regional development. Framed around problem-driven inquiry, the course champions innovative thinking, cross-disciplinary integration, and practical transformation. It aims to cultivate students’ global vision, organisational and collaborative abilities, and future-oriented capacity for design innovation. Through capability training across five dimensions—broad observation, sharp problem-framing, strong execution, high experimentation, and real-world translation—the course encourages students to engage with real-world issues such as smart cities and ageing societies, developing design literacy grounded in both social responsibility and creativity.

·Integrated Construction
This course focuses on the integration of modern information technology and integrated product construction, linking traditional craftsmanship with intelligent manufacturing and digital products. Building on foundational knowledge of transmission mechanisms, the course establishes connections with programming, while deepening students' understanding of both physical and virtual domains. Through product structure analysis, design framework studies, and hands-on model making, students explore the logic of creation and the synergy between structure and form, establishing inside-out design thinking. The course develops abilities in form abstraction, spatial construction, and logical reasoning, and guides students to explore future lifestyles through sci-art manufacturing.

·Product System Design
Emphasizing both theoretical inquiry and practical application, this course constructs a three-dimensional framework combining knowledge, problem identification, and methods around the core path "from problem to solution". Through user research, pathway construction, and interdisciplinary collaboration, it trains students in field and desktop research. Highlighting industry-academia integration, the pedagogy adopts local Chinese culture and contemporary lifestyles as foundational motifs, guiding students to engage with real social and industrial contexts to cultivate holistic capabilities from systemic analysis to solution generation.
