People pose for photos with a “snowman” made of fallen leaves during the Autumn Leaves Art Festival at China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on Sunday. Since 2006, faculty and students at the school have been reshaping fallen leaves into artworks, and the art festival has become an annual event. This year’s festival opened on Dec 7 and is expected to continue until Jan 10.

The ceremony for the 2024 Design Intelligence Award (DIA) took place on December 6 at the Liangzhu Campus of China Academy of Art (CAA). An exhibition commemorating the 700th anniversary of the death of the Italian explorer Marco Polo opened on Saturday at the China Academy of Art (CAA) in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province. The event is titled "The Perfect Path: Hangzhou, Marco Polo's 'city of heaven'" and is co-hosted by the CAA and La Biennale di Venezia (Venice Biennale). "Both China and Italy are ancient civilizations with rich cultures and enduring historical traditi
