The 18/19 F/W collection of Leather & Fur Fashion Trends was released at the 2018 Haining China International Leather & Fur Fabrics and Accessories Exhibition in Haining, Zhejiang province on Mar 11.   The project was collaboration between the Fashion & Textile Research Center (FTRC) from our university and the Haining China Leather City. The Oldest Alumna Donated Rare Photographs to CAA
Our university’s 90th birthday celebrations are now less than a month away! As part of the celebrations, a special exhibition featuring donated works by teachers and students from our university opened on Mar 5.   Among the donors worthy of special mention is Chen Lingjuan, a 105-year-old, the oldest alumna of our university. Lecture-The Human Clay-Aspects of Contemporary British Painting & Graphic Arts opened
The first workshop of Independent Artist Program will be given by Professor Jonathan Gibbs, from University of Edinburgh. The Exhibition Telling 90-year History of CAA opens at Museum of Contemporary Art
The China Academy of Art will be celebrating its 90th anniversary in April, with a series of grand festivities planned, including an alumni’s donation special exhibition themed on centurial united efforts of predecessors, which is running at the school’s gallery in Hangzhou from Mar 2 to 30.   At the opening ceremony on Mar 5, 9 representatives of alumni attended the donation ceremony and 43 new works have been collected. our latest exhibition? The Chinese Oil Painting International Itinerant Exhibition (Hangzhou) is on at The Museum of Contemporary Art of CAA until February 26. The exhibition is co-hosted by the China National Academy of Painting and CAA. It exhibits 150 pieces from over 60 artists. The artists include researchers from the China National Academy of Painting and other great Chinese oil painters. It is the most complete exhibition featuring the highest achievements of Chinese oil painters so far.

A Call for a Design and Construction Plan for Liangzhu Campus of CAA
There has been a GLOBAL call for a design and construction plan for CAA’s New campus - the Liangzhu Campus. Designs will be accepted until 10am on March 21, 2018.   In July, 2017, a strategic signing of contract was held between the China Academy of Art and the Yuhang Government of Hangzhou to build the new Liangzhu Campus of CAA.
