A Hangzhou-Tokyo-Vienna Exhibition “Gender Equality” was held
A Hangzhou-Tokyo-Vienna joint exhibition on the theme of “gender equality”, featuring over 100 poster designs by students from three schools - CAA in Hangzhou, Tama Art University in Tokyo, and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna - was held at the three schools simultaneously from Dec 3 to 13. This joint exhibition aimed to inspire students from different cultural backgrounds to express their ideas and reflect on social concerns.

CAA Professor Wu Haiyan Invited to exhibit her designs at Dubai Fashion Days
Wu Haiyan, CAA Professor and famous fashion designer, was invited to exhibit her traditional Chinese-style designs at Dubai Fashion Days, which ran from Dec 8 to 12, 2019. This is the fourth international tour stop of Wu’s design show, following Italy, Kyrgyzstan, and Greece. Wu hopes to spread Chinese culture through her designs.

The 2019 3rd Foliage Art Festival “Poetic Autumn Scenes” hosted by CAA Opened!
The 2019 3rd Foliage Art Festival titled “Poetic Autumn Scenes” hosted by CAA opened on Dec 8, with five impressive works of art selected from over 200 entries installed and exhibited on Hangzhou’s streets.According to CAA teacher Chen Xiao, this year’s festival features more activities such as a creative fair exhibiting and selling artwork by CAA students from over 50 innovative workshops.

Exhibition on Artwork and Reports by CAA Students on 10 Public Beijing Landmarks in 1958 Opened
A special exhibition opened yesterday at CAA's Nanshan campus, featuring artwork and reports by CAA students following research carried out on 10 impressive public landmarks constructed in Beijing in 1958. The exhibition, also designed to mark the 70th anniversary of People's Republic of China, runs until Dec 15. Don't miss it!

The 3rd Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art Exhibition Titled "Boundless Encounters" is on
The 3rd Hangzhou Triennial of Fiber Art exhibition titled "Boundless Encounters" opened on Nov 26, with nearly 80 impressive works by 40 artists from 18 countries and regions displayed at three of Hangzhou's most famous museums: Zhejiang Art Museum, China National Silk Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art of CAA. The event provides a space for artists from around the world to discuss their work and the creative possibilities provided by fiber art.

The 2019 ELIA Leadership Symposium was Held in CAA
boration within the realm of higher arts education. Around 120 representatives of 57 academies and organizations from 27 countries and regions attended the symposium. In addition, delegates made the most of this unique opportunity to visit schools of CAA to explore the space between cultures. Eight agreements and three cooperation intentions were reached. An exhibition to mark caa Professor Zhu Yingren’s work and his philosophy of art education is being held at CAA’s Pan Tianshou Memorial Museum on Nanshan Road, hangzhou from Nov 22, 2019 to Jan 5, 2020. Zhu, a 90-year-old Master of arts, who is famous for his traditional Chinese paintings, has influenced generations of young artists.
