90th Anniversary of Affiliated High School of CAA
The Affiliated High School of China Academy of Art has recently released a logo and visual art video in celebration of its upcoming 90th anniversary in October. Founded in 1929, the school has worked closely with the CAA in providing a comprehensive art education.

Happy Teacher's Day
Today, CAA is celebrating the 35th China Teachers’ Day with a special illumination event – nine big LED screens on campus will project “Laoshi, nin hao!” (Hello, teachers!) to honor teachers working at the academy. Philanthropy-we are on the way
  A philanthropy forum was held at CAA’s Xiangshan Campus on Sept 5, with over 600 attendees taking part, including representatives from the Communist Youth League and government agencies, as well as philanthropists from all walks of life. The forum was co-organized by Alibaba Group and CAA to promote charity and sustainable development.

The Ceremony to welcome new students
A ceremony was held at CAA’s Xiangshan campus on Sept 3 to welcome 2,506 new students. University leaders, professors and representatives of senior students attended the event, with many reading out messages of good luck to the new students. CAA welcomed 2,506 new students
Over 2,500 new students from across China have injected fresh creativity to CAA with the start of the fall semester on Sept 1. The bustling campus is currently buzzing with their energy and ideas, with the new students keen to learn and contribute. Appreciate Renowned Japanese Graphic Designers at CAA
A special exhibition of work by Ikko Tanaka and Shigeo Fukuda, renowned Japanese graphic designers, is currently on at CAA’s Chain Design Museum, which will run until Sept 12. The event is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about these two talented designers and their works.

An Animation Reveals Liangzhu Culture
The Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, which date back 5,300 years, were added to the UNESCO World Heritage List on Saturday. To tell the story of Lianzhu culture, Professor Liu Jian at the CAA is leading students at the School of Film and Animation to produce an animation about this ancient place and its culture. The “YOUNG to young” Successfully Concluded
The “YOUNG to young” International Collaborative Curriculum initiative concluded last week. Over the past month, 400 CAA freshmen have worked with mentors from home and abroad on many creative projects. Annual Graduation Exhibition Attracts Great Attention
The annual graduation exhibition of China Academy of Art was held on June 6. Per official statistics, the number of attendees visiting Nanshan Campus and Xiangshan Campus during the whole exhibition was up to 350,000. Residents and art lovers from all over the country poured into the exhibition during the Dragon Boat Festival, and the art gallery reached its visiting peak of over 30,000 visitors.
