The first exchange organized between CAA’s Public Arts Department and Duperré, the “Qi”-themed “Over Technology Landscape” workshop, began in Hangzhou from Apr 6-14. Qi refers to the energy at the core of all living things in Chinese traditional culture.This phase of exploration has resulted in rich artworks based incorporating light, video and textiles. The exhibition of traditional Chinese food and tableware is on
As part of Conference on Dialogue of Asian Civilizations, the "Taste Hangzhou" Asian Cuisine Festival opened on May 15th. The exhibition of traditional Chinese food and tableware undertaken by China Academy of Art opened.
Traditional Chinese culinary culture and its development in modern times will be presented during the exhibition.

“Be-Cause of Painting”Exhibition will open on May 25
An exhibition entitled “Be-Cause of Painting”, an important part of Zhijiang International Youth Art Festival, will be held at the Xiangshan Art Commune from May 25 to June 10. "SeT-ReSET", the fashion show featuring CAA’s graduates, is being held during the China Graduate Fashion Week 2019 in Beijing from May 13-19.The designs displayed what the students have learned in the past four years, their expectations for the future, as well as their concerns and thoughts on society. After the fashion week in Beijing, “SeT-ReSET” will be performed in Hangzhou as well.
