Construction on CAA’s Liangzhu Campus officially started on Jan 11, the 151st anniversary of Cai Yuanpei’s birthday, who is the founder of the National Academy of Art (now is the CAA). CAA ranked third among Chinese mainland universities, just behind Peking University and Tsinghua University, in terms of foreign media presence, according to the "2018 Overseas Network Communication Ability of Chinese Universities" report recently released by Beijing Normal University and Cover Media.
