The 4th International Intermedia Art Festival, jointly organized by CAA and the Times Art Museum, is being hosted at the Times Art Museum in Beijing from Oct 28 to Nov 21. A special calligraphy and seal cutting exhibition opened at the?CAA?Art Museum on Oct 23, lasting until Oct 30. All of the exhibition pieces are donated by 93-year-old Liu Jiang and his family, who are all artists of CAA. Liu donated all of his time to his alma mater.

The statue of Cai Yuanpei is unveiled at CAA
A statue of Cai Yuanpei (1868-1940), carved by Prof. Liu Kaiqu, was unveiled at #CAA on Oct 19, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Cai’s birth. Cai Yuanpei was a famous Chinese educator who founded the National Academy of Art (presently known as CAA) besides Hangzhou’s West Lake in 1928.

The Second West Lake International Documentary Festival is open
The Second West Lake International Documentary Festival commenced at China Academy of Art in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province yesterday. A multimedia show named “Epoch and Scope” was staged on the campus to celebrate the opening of the festival.
