Long Xiang was awarded the Title of “Foreign Academician”
Long Xiang, a professor of CAA, was given the title of “foreign academician” by National Academy of Arts of Ukraine in Lvov National Academy of Fine Arts on Aug 9. Prof. Long is a renowned sculptor globally and mainly focuses on research of material and visual culture of sculpture, as well as sculpture education.

The emblem of 19th Asian Games is designed by CAA Professor
The 19th Asian Games will be hosted in Hangzhou in 2022. The games’ emblem, designed by CAA professor Yuan Youmin, was revealed yesterday night. The figure consists of six elements including the Qiantong River Tide, an Internet symbol and the sun of OCA.   Emblem of the Game   Design Team

Gao Fenglin, a professor at CAA, won prestigious awards at the A' Design Award Gala-Night and Exhibition which was held in Italy recently. His design “Meditation Seat Ware Seat Ware” won the Platinum A' Design Award Winner for Furniture, Decorative Items and Homeware Design Category in 2017.

Graduation Gowns Designed by CAA
Since 2013, CAA has been designing their own graduation gowns, representing different things for each group of graduates. The tassels on trencher caps have been made in the shape of Chinese knots, with graduation gowns being made in different colors and with varying numbers of buttons. The green gown with four buttons is for undergraduates, representing four years of study at CAA. Quan Shanshi-A Master Oil Painter
Quan Shanshi, one of the most well-known professors at CAA, is a master oil painter in China. He has always said that Chinese artists need to find a way to create their own style of oil painting through learning about Western art. He has also created a teaching method that combines painting with music. Let’s take a look at some of his artworks.
