Lin’an Museum-Another Masterpiece by Wangshu
Lin’an Museum will soon open to the public! The architectural masterpiece was designed by WangShu, a professor at CAA, the only Chinese, who was awarded the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 2012.   Moreover, three national treasures will be put on display in the museum. China Academy of Art visits NTU to strengthen ties
One of NTU's prestigious partners, China Academy of Art, sent a delegation to visit NTU this week to strengthen academic and enterprise ties between the two art schools.   China Academy of Art (CAA) is an elite Arts Academy based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province and currently holds an exchange agreement with Nottingham Trent University's (NTU) School of Art & Design. Hangzhou, close to Shanghai and Ningbo, is a cultural and creative hub in China, with a rich history in arts and crafts.

2018 Graduation Works Exhibition Opens
On May 24, the China Academy of Art (CAA) held its opening ceremony of 2018 Graduation Works Exhibition in front of the China Design Museum at Xiangshan campus in Hangzhou.       Leaders from Zhejiang Governmental Organizations and China Academy of Art as well as friends from press, companies, and students at CAA attended the ceremony. Innovation key to future of design industry
Liu Guanzhong, a professor of industrial design at Tsinghua University, criticized the over-enthusiasm in China for foreign design honors, such as the Red Dot Design Award, which allows applicants to participate in several categories and charge fees at different stages of the competition.   “Chinese design should inspire our own creativity.
