Innovation key to future of design industry

May 18 is the International Museum Day! Our university’s Crafts Museum has organized a bamboo workshop that visitors can take part in last Saturday. 20 visitors participating in the event. Participants made bamboo bags, as bamboo weaving is a traditional Chinese handicraft. Bamboo workshops will continue in the future. International Museum Day 2018
Today is International Museum Day! This year’s theme is Hyper connected museums: New approaches, new publics. Visual Designs of Graduation Works Exhibition 2018 Released!
Graduation Works Exhibition 2018 will run from May 25 to June 11 with its opening ceremony being held on Xiangshan campus at 7:30pm on May 25. A video introducing visual designs of the exhibition was released recently. This year’s exhibition is themed “Words for 2028”. The opening ceremony will include magnificent live shows performed by students and faculty members. On May 13, graduation works of department of fashion and textile design of School of Design at CAA was released in Beijing. It is the 10th time for CAA to participate in Fashion Week of China International Undergraduates. Zhejiang Provincial Governor Presents Prizes for Winners of DIA 2018!
The award ceremony of DIA 2018 is held in Nanshan campus of CAA on May 8. Supported by Zhejiang Provincial Government, the DIA 2018 is hosted by CAA and co-organized by China Industrial Association. Two pieces- “Parking AGV” and “Power-Concentrated EMUs of New Generation” won the gold awards which are designed by designers from Zhejiang province and Hunan province.
