2018 Graduation Works Exhibition Opens
On May 24, the China Academy of Art (CAA) held its opening ceremony of 2018 Graduation Works Exhibition in front of the China Design Museum at Xiangshan campus in Hangzhou.
Leaders from Zhejiang Governmental Organizations and China Academy of Art as well as friends from press, companies, and students at CAA attended the ceremony.

Art Makes Life Better-Li Yu who Decorated his four-story villa
A postgraduate student at CAA lives in a four-story villa in Hangzhou that he decorated himself. There are date and bamboo trees in every corner of the house. Innovation key to future of design industry
Liu Guanzhong, a professor of industrial design at Tsinghua University, criticized the over-enthusiasm in China for foreign design honors, such as the Red Dot Design Award, which allows applicants to participate in several categories and charge fees at different stages of the competition.

International Museum Day 2018
Today is International Museum Day! This year’s theme is Hyper connected museums: New approaches, new publics. In order to celebrate it, three museums of CAA will open until 12pm and will provide a series of public educational activities including Bauhaus and the idea of modern design at China Design Museum, bamboo workshop at Crafts Museum and pottery workshop at Contemporary Art Museum at Nanshan road.

Visual Designs of Graduation Works Exhibition 2018 Released!
Graduation Works Exhibition 2018 will run from May 25 to June 11 with its opening ceremony being held on Xiangshan campus at 7:30pm on May 25. A video introducing visual designs of the exhibition was released recently. This year’s exhibition is themed “Words for 2028”.
