
Incepted by the West Lake in Hangzhou, China in 2003, the China International Poster Biennial (CIPB) represents China’s highest-level poster design competition, and ranks among the most sought-after poster competitions and exhibitions in the global graphic design community. So far, the event has welcomed tens of thousands works of poster design from over 40 countries and regions.
The 11th CIPB took place in Liangzhu Village Cultural Art Center, Hangzhou, China in December 2023. This session of CIPB, hosted by China Academy of Art (CAA) and the Zhejiang Artists Association (ZAA) and organized by the Visual Communication School of CAA and the Graph Design Committee of ZAA, seeks to exhibit what poster designers have achieved in diversification and innovation-oriented exploration, and to drive cultural communication and exchanges within the global graphic design community. The greatest influencers from the global graphic design community will be invited to form a jury. Winners of all its awards will be selected in strict accordance with international best practices, at the jury’s sole, final discretion.
