"Congsheng.art − The 5th Joint Exhibition of Excellent Works of Art Academies across the Taiwan Straits" commenced and became open to the public at Quan Shanshi Art Center, Hangzhou, on December 1, 2023. The exhibition gathers 20 art academies across the Taiwan Straits with 220 participants, showcasing 393 outstanding artworks ranging from paintings, sculptures, installations, videos, design, handicrafts, and more.
Themed "A Shared Future", the exhibition features two special segments, "Tearing Down Walls" and "100 Possible Futures for Want Want". A seminar themed "New Humanities & Contemporary Art Education" will take place concurrently, at which experts, scholars, teachers, and students from universities on both sides of the strait will discuss the future of art education in the context of current art trends. The exhibition will last through December 17.
