On the evening of June 1, the Third Zhijiang International Youth Art Festival & China Academy of Art Graduation Season & Zhejiang Conservatory of Music Graduation Concert kicked off at the Zhejiang Art Museum, with the theme "Prestory". Over 2,000 young artists, designers, writers, and scholars gathered for this city-wide and cross-sectoral youthful art event.

The theme of this edition, "Prestory" was a reflection on the previous theme of "Being with You in the World". Living together in the world in this era, we are collectively forming a new perception of history and a sense of reality. In the massive recordings and writings about the present, we have lost the "now". In the "real-time" and "synchronized" world driven by infinite computing power, we have lost the "now". In the carnival of social media, we cannot recognize each other. In the clamor of the crowd, we cannot hear the echo of our own existence.

The third edition, with the theme of "Prestory", demonstrated the cultural reflections, creative achievements, and spirits of young art workers. The event comprised more than 30 art activities, including online opening ceremony, offline exhibitions and screenings, Sci-Fi Forum, and concerts. In the exhibition area of some 18,000 sqm, more than 3,500 works were showcased. This year's festival focused on the future and the youth with a rich variety of on-site activities, linking cultural and artistic resources from the provincial, municipal, and district levels. It was a grand city-wide literary and artistic fair in Hangzhou.
