Dai earned her MA in Chinese Landscape Painting from the Department of Chinese Painting at CAA in 2009 after completing her studies under Prof. Zhang Weiping. She finished her doctorate study under Prof. Chen Xiangxun and Prof. Bi Fei and received her PhD in Chinese Landscape Painting from the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy at CAA in 2019. Prof. Dai has led or been involved in 6 national, provincial and ministerial projects, published 4 academic papers, and won the "Rising Star in Zhejiang Teaching Cycle" award and the "2019 Zhejiang Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Nomination" award, among others. She has also participated in the Chinese Artists Association's national fine art creation program in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC. Some of her works were exhibited at national art exhibitions and garnered awards.
