Mr. Dai was born in Jingdezhen of Jiangxi Province. He graduated from CAA in 1989 and taught at Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute until 1996 and then has been teaching at CAA since that. Mr. Dai was invited to the Ceramic Art Research Institute of Jieikai Social Welfare Corp for technical guidance in 2002 and to University Of Hawaii as a visiting scholar in 2004. Four years later, he was invited by the Cultural Development Fund of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government to Macao for a ceramic art exchange.
