Dong Jie

Mr. Dong was conferred with his Doctor of Arts Degree in the Department of Art History, School of Art and Humanities at CAA in 2008 and has been teaching there ever since. He was promoted to professor in 2017. He is a visiting scholar of "Visiting Scholar Program of Harvard-Yenching Institute", an outstanding talent of the "Ten-thousand Talents Plan" of Zhejiang Province, and an outstanding young scholar of CAA;


Mr. Dong has published two monographs on the history of printmaking and more than 20 professional papers on the subject over the past 20 years, as he has been studying the history of ancient Chinese art and printmaking with his teacher, Mr. Fan Jingzhong. He has given over 10 lectures at various professional academic institutions and has organized or participated in the organization of over 10 solo and group exhibitions of ink painting and printmaking. 


He was awarded the Second Prize of the 6th National Teaching Achievement Awards, nominated for One Hundred National Excellent Doctoral Theses, and was awarded the Second Prize of the 8th Outstanding Achievement Award for Scientific Research in Colleges and Universities.
