Gu Wenjia

Gu Wenjia focuses on film and TV animation creation as well as education and research in design basics. Her works received the highest honor from the International FICTS Fest and the China Special Award for Animated Short Film of the Asian Art Alliance Starlight Award. She participated in the Birthday Celebration of the Immortals Large Naked-eye 3D Interactive Display Project, which won the Science and Technology Progress Award First Prize from Shanghai Administration of Culture, Radio, Film and Television. Her works were exhibited at Zhejiang Art Museum, West Bund Dome Art Center, and other art facilities. Prof. Gu has been involved in the Research on Interaction Design Methodology – a project approved by the Humanities and Social Science Research Youth Fund of the Ministry of Education and many provincial and ministerial projects. She co-authored the textbook A Brief History of Chinese and Foreign Art on China's 12th Five-Year Vocational Education Plan, and led the development of Humanities Basis, a Zhejiang Provincial First-class Course and Zhejiang Provincial Ideological and Political Theory Demonstration Course. She is also a co-developer of national first-class curriculum, co-author of Information Interaction Design, a basic design textbook for institutions of higher learning on the 12th Five-Year Plan, and the developer of a series of art and painting textbooks on the 13th Five-Year Plan. She has published several papers.
