Lu Tao earns his PhD degree in Design Studies from China Academy of Art (CAA). As a senior engineer, he currently serves as a professor and master’s supervisor at CAA. He also holds the position of Deputy Director in charge of the Design-AI Collaboration Innovation Center, Secretary General of the Design Intelligence Award (DIA) Committee, and Secretary General of Design Intelligence Union (DIU). Additionally, Prof. Lu is a Council Member of the Architectural Society of China, the China Industrial Design Association, and the China National Furniture Association’s Expert Committee. He also serves as the Vice-director of the Architectural and Environmental Color Committee at China Fashion and Color Association.
