Pan Wenxun
Professor, Master Supervisor at the School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, Director of Figure Teaching and Research Office of Chinese Painting

Pan graduated from the Affiliated High School of CAA in 1995. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in 1999 and became an instructor in the Department of Chinese Painting in 2004 when she was conferred her Master's Degree from CAA. She obtained the PhD degree in 2010.

She is adept at Chinese Painting with distinctive personal style. She has been invited to academic exhibitions both at home and abroad, elected into national and provincial level arts exhibitions and won awards. Her artworks are collected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC and displayed in Chinese embassies in France and Turkey. She has hosted solo exhibitions in state key art museums many times and published the collections of Hidden Man and On the Cloud. Her artworks are collected by various art museums. Pan also published the monograph Ancient Oriental Color and This Life and the provincial key textbook for universities Line Drawing of Chinese Figure Drawing. She hosted several teaching programs, including an international MOOC Chinese Painting: The History and Comparison of Chinese Figure Painting, a provincial first-class course Creation of Chinese Painting, and a provincial quality course Color Setting of Chinese Painting.
