Qi Chenxi
Associate Professor, the EDNA Joint Institute, CAA

Qi Chenxi is a Doctor of Arts and a visiting scholar at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. She completed her studies at the Department of Philosophy, Zhejiang University and CAA's Department of Art History and School of Intermedia Art. Dr. Qi is teaching at EDNA Joint Institute. She attended a study program at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2013 and joined the second list of Outstanding Young Talents under CAA's "Leading Talent Support Program" in 2022. Since 2007, she has been working at the Institute of International Collaboration (IIC) (formerly known as Chinesisch-Deutsche Künstakademie), responsible for organizing international teaching of education projects under articulation agreements. Her teaching and research focus on digital media design, algorithmic art history and visual arts. She led the "Study on Early German Algorithm Arts in the 1960s", a key project under the Zhejiang Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Plan. She has published many papers in New Arts and Springer, a well-known German scientific publishing house, and has delivered presentations at international conferences such as Cumulus.
