Since childhood, Wang has been learning and practicing painting from his family. He received his undergraduate, master's, and doctoral degrees in Chinese Painting from CAA and continued his education in this place. Under the guidance of Professor Yu Xiaorong and Professor Fan Jingzhong, he focused on brush figure painting and blue-green landscape painting and received another doctoral degree from CAA in Art in June 2016.
