Prof. Yan An, born in 1977 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, earned his BA from the Department of History, Zhejiang University in 1998 and his MA from the Department of Art History, China Academy of Art (CAA) in 2003. He completed his PhD studies at the Department of Art History, the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2006. Prof. Yan is a researcher at the Art Research Institute of China National Academy of Painting. He also holds positions as an art education expert appointed by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province and as an expert at the Institute of Digital Technology and Creative Arts of Guangdong Province.
