Yu Chunyang is a CPC Member, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Zhejiang University. Currently, he is Director's Assistant of Design-AI Lab, one of the philosophy and social science labs recognized by China's Ministry of Education. Concurrently, he serves as Associate Editor-in-Chief at the Journal of Engineering Design, an internationally influential journal, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Innovation Design Industry Alliance of Yangtze River Economic Belt. He has been included in Hangzhou's Special Support Program for High-Caliber Talents. His research interests focus on intelligent design and intelligent manufacturing. Prof. Yu has led or been involved in four projects above ministerial, provincial and national levels, and published 25 papers, including 19 in SCI/SSCI journals. He is also a peer reviewer at international leading journals, such as RCIM, CIE, JMS, AEI, and IJPR.
