Yu Qingqing is a CPC member, born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in 1982. She earned her MA in Landscape Architecture from Zhejiang University and was appointed a visiting scholar at Louisiana State University. Prof. Yu has been working at the China Academy of Art (CAA) since 2006. Concurrently, she holds positions as a member of the CHSLA Landscape Plants and Old Trees Professional Committee and the Botanical Society of Zhejiang and an expert in old trees protection in Hangzhou. She is also a peer reviewer at Hangzhou Landscape Architecture. Prof. Yu has published around ten academic papers, including two in SCI journals. She has led or been involved in nearly ten projects at the bureau, departmental, municipal, provincial and national levels, and co-authored three books. Some of her projects garnered awards such as the IFLA ASIA-PAC Outstanding Award, and the First Prize for Outstanding Projects of Territorial Space Planning Design in Zhejiang Province. Her research interests focus on the planning, design and culture of landscape plants.
