Nowadays, digital technologies and artificial intelligence have transformed the way we teach and learn, the way the academy exists, and the value art carries. On its 95th anniversary, China Academy of Art launched the world's first Metaverse Art School — Meta Art Academy(MAA), which features hyper-immersive course-themed worlds, a super audio-visual sympathetic art theater, and a hyper-dimensional mixed reality portal. This virtual art academy provides each individual with one multiverse and each lesson with a specific thematic world. Art lovers, aspiring designers, art masters, and tech experts will gather at MAA to delve into the metaverse. They will be tasked with promoting art in this digital age and uncovering the future of art.
MAA comprises four segments: a central information transmission hall, numerous course-themed worlds, a super audio-visual sympathetic art theater, and a digital art collection platform.
Central Information Transmission Hall: This virtual hall gathers all information about course-themed worlds, the art theater, and the digital art collections. This is where you select the course you want to embark on a journey toward another world.
Numerous course-themed worlds: Worlds of numerous course topics are available here, and each is a super-immersive, themed magical world. Great artists in digital representation will lead some workshops, guiding your exploratory journey through the MAA curricula.
Super Audio-Visual Sympathetic Art Theater: The theater offers plenty of hyper-immersive, hyper-dimensional experiences, enabling you to immerse yourself in the digital artworks from meta art shows, take part in the performance at meta drama festivals, admire virtual fashion shows from every possible angle, listen to the futuristic tunes at online concerts, and attend opening ceremonies in mixed reality.
Digital Art Collection Platform: Here, you can access all the digital assets, 3D resources, and exhibited artworks from the many course-themed worlds and the super audio-visual show sympathetic art theater. You can collect and share these digital artworks and upload your own creations.
MAA is a portal for you to the virtual world of art education as it connects with top art schools across the globe. Studying here, you will be awarded an MAA-endorsed academic certificate. Teaching and sharing here, you will be granted a special appointment certificate from MAA. Every certificate is unique, showing your personal learning journey, creations, and engagement with others. With these certificates, you can get benefits such as collections, bonus points, and gifts, both online and offline at the physical campus of China Academy of Art as well as schools or organizations with a partnership with MAA.
You can access MAA through PC Client, Web Client, or Mixed Reality BOX. Powered by six technical solutions, MAA provides 5.1 surround sound, glass-free 3D ultra-precision vision, digital representations created in real-time with multi-cameras, and motion capture. It also enables an ultra-large full-frame stretching nearly 300 inches, almost 6 meters.
