The 5th Zhijiang International Youth Art Festival 2023 & China Academy of Art (CAA) Graduation Season kicked off online and offline concurrently on June 1.

The Youth Art Festival is presented online on CAACOSMOS, an online art community of CAA, and West Lake Sky Screen and offline at six venues.

Over 3,000 works from more than 2, 500 Class of 2023 graduates, including 1, 766 BFAs, 688 MFAs, and 97 DFAs, are showcased.

The academy make its graduation show a city- wide cross- sectoral youthful creative event as well as a program of public art education. 

CAA was the first to hold a Graduation Season open to all Hangzhou citizens in 2010 and upgraded it to the Zhijiang International Youth Art Festival in 2019, an event celebrated across the whole city.

The theme of this year's edition of Youth Art Festival is "Brain Garden" and the "garden" represents an age of innocence envisioned by humans. The art feast is launched at six venues with a total exhibition area of nearly 40,000 sqm. You may make a reservation via the official mini programs or WeChat platforms of these venues for a visit.
