Besides Prof. Liu Jian, Du Haibin -an associate professor at the School of Film and Animation at CAA -was also invited to join the Academy’s membership base in 2018 by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organizer of the Oscars.
Prof. Du is a famous documentary director. His documentary “1428” won the Orizzonti Prize for Best Documentary at the 66th Venice Film Festival.
