CAA ranked third among Chinese mainland universities, just behind Peking University and Tsinghua University, in terms of foreign media presence, according to the "2018 Overseas Network Communication Ability of Chinese Universities" report recently released by Beijing Normal University and Cover Media.

The research team looked at 184 universities in China, including 141 Chinese mainland universities and 43 universities from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, and analyzed their performance on six overseas media platforms: Google, Wikipedia, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
