Established in 2007, the department aims to build shared platforms for teaching equipment by improved lab management so as to enhance the methods, effects and quality of teaching. We have established one national demonstrative program of art lab education and seven provincial demonstrative programs of lab education for fine art, design, media and animation, public art, sustainable architecture, inter-media art, and communal equipment by 2017.
The total cost of CAA lab equipment has reached 15.2751 million RMB and covers a building area of more than 34970 square meters. We will continue to build more shared platforms of lab education to develop students’ creativity and innovation ability.
