As a front-end professional fundamental education unit of the two-stage education form, School of Foundation Studies includes fine arts department, design department and iamge and media department, which sets up three teaching studios of drawing, traditional Chinese painting,calligraphy and image. The school inherits the ‘Broad Curriculum, High Caliber, Strong Foundation and Diverse Practice’ educational philosophy. To centralize the excellent resources, the school aims at improving the basic ability of students, strengthen their basic quality and creative ability, and to cultivate open minds and working methods.
